Roaming, exploring, painting, photographing, loving time with friends, eating so well, being endlessly inspired by the colors, artisans and architecture … we have been coming for thirty years and this town just fills up my heart. xxx

I woke up at 5, creaky joints (yes I know I need to stretch more) and heard the thwap thwap thwap sound of Chica’s tail against the bed knowing full well this was her ticket out to go chase squirrels… we shimmied out of the bedroom quiet
Slowly the post storm LIGHT comes around the bend, like a slow building sunrise …she whispers her way through the clouds, comforting them, reminding them of the goodness and beauty all around - lightening all their colors and that of the earth
In the next few days I will be posting watercolors with the intention of donating half the proceeds to the @thecapewildlifecenter on Cape Cod. Their rescue and rehabilitation work is incredible and following their photos and stories on their account
